Atlanta-based home improvement retailer Home Depot is set to report fourth-quarter earnings next week. Expectations are for weak results as the housing market continues to deteriorate and consumers scale back spending in light of ongoing recession fears and tighter credit standards. Investors are not anticipating a recovery to come before 2009.
